We believe that owning beautiful jewellery and natural gemstones should be an enjoyable and accessible experience. To make collecting easier, we offer tailored payment options with a lay-by plan. 

With a 20% non-refundable deposit, you can secure your chosen gemstone or piece of jewellery and pay the remaining balance over six months - or sooner if you prefer.

All payments are processed securely with our LAY-BUY partner via PayPal, with convenient automated reminders to help you stay on track.

How it Works

Simply add your chosen artwork to the cart and select ‘Put it on Lay-Buy’ at checkout. You’ll then be able to choose a deposit amount (between 20–50%) and set your payment period for up to 3 months.

Your initial payment includes the deposit plus a one-time admin fee (see below), all processed securely through PayPal.

Lay-Buy Terms & Conditions

The below makes up the Terms & Conditions for any Lay-Buy transactions entered into:

1. Cancellation of Lay-Buy by Seller
The seller under a Lay-Buy must not cancel it unless –
a) The buyer breaches a term of the Lay-Byu; or
b) The seller stops trading

2. Cancellation of Lay-Buy by Buyer
The buyer may cancel their Lay-Buy order at any time prior to delivery of products and on delivery of products if the products are damaged by so advising seller in writing.

3. Effect of Cancellation
Subject to the above, when a Lay-Buy is cancelled by buyer, Seller must refund all money paid within 14 days less a 20% deposit.

4. Service Fee
Seller shall not charge the customer any interest charges, membership fee or service fee on any Lay-Buy sales transaction. Lay-Buy Financial Solutions Pty Ltd trading as www.lay-buys.com charges a once-off admin fee, with the amount displayed to customers at checkout. The buyer will pay this amount at checkout at time of paying the down payment. This fee is an admin fee and is therefore not refundable.

The admin fee amount depends on the total order value, per a sliding scale.

The amount is displayed to the customer when on the payment plan page, prior to being directed to PayPal for payment.

The admin fee amount is currently:
1.9% for orders over $300
2.9% for orders $200 to $300
3.9% for orders $100 to $200
4.9% for orders $50 to $100
$1 to $5 for orders below $50

5. Delivery
The seller will only fulfil order and deliver the product/s after receiving the final instalment payment for all Lay-Buy orders.
