Boulder Opal and Diamond Split Shank Silver Ring
The split shank changes everything. Where a standard band frames a stone, a split shank elevates it, creating space around the centrepiece that lets the eye settle on the opal without distraction. On this ring, that opal thoroughly rewards the attention.
The boulder opal is a cushion-oblong shape with colour play covering the face almost edge to edge in dense blue and green, with warm flashes of orange moving through as the light shifts. Very little visible ironstone matrix, which means the colour dominates entirely. A vivid, lively stone that looks different every time you glance down at your hand.
A single round diamond is flush set into each shoulder of the split shank, one on either side of the opal. At 0.5 carats total they are proportioned to complement rather than compete, catching light quietly alongside the opal and giving the ring a fine jewellery quality that elevates it beyond a conventional silver piece. The split shank itself is polished to a high shine, the two bands converging into a smooth, comfortable profile beneath the finger.
A ring that works as an everyday piece and as something special. Versatile enough to wear with anything, distinctive enough to be noticed. Currently sized P and wearable as is, or adjustable by a local jeweller if needed.

Resizing
This ring is currently size P. If you require a different size, we recommend visiting a local jeweller for resizing. Boulder opal rings can generally be resized one to two sizes without risk to the stone. Please contact us before purchasing if you have any questions about sizing.

The opals and the gemstones are directly sourced in the rough and cut by Ross Chapman, Fellow and Lecturer of the Gemmological Association. He is also the father of Annie, founder of Lurlina. Hence, the jewellery is of the highest quality and offers excellent pricing as there is no middleman.
These are solid, natural opals and will not be affected by water.
Moisturisers and body creams will not damage your opal jewellery, but a build-up of these products may reduce its shine.
Avoid abrasives or hard knocks as this could possibly damage your opal jewellery.
To clean, use a soft cloth or toothbrush with a mild detergent and warm water.
