A deep, moody pairing with a flash of something luminous. A rich blue sapphire and a solid Australian boulder opal in a two-stone drop pendant that wears beautifully at the neckline and rewards a closer look.
The sapphire sits at the top, cushion-oval cut in a saturated blue that deepens towards the centre. Sourced from Central Queensland, it is genuinely Australian from bail to base. Below it, the boulder opal carries a dark ironstone ground with vivid green colour play in scattered, glowing patches across the surface. In certain light the green is almost electric. It photographs beautifully and looks even better in person.
A Queensland sapphire paired with a Queensland opal. Both natural, both untreated, both cut by hand in our family workshop. That provenance is rare to find anywhere.
At just under 5 carats of gemstone in a compact, wearable form, this pendant sits close to the chest and catches light quietly throughout the day. Arrives with a sterling silver chain included, ready to wear straight from the box.

Every hand-crafted piece is as unique as the pieces of opal they are created around to create eye-catching, impressive mini works of art. All opal in the Collection are excavated from our family opal mine, Big Red, located in Western Queensland.
The opals and the gemstones are directly sourced in the rough and cut by Ross Chapman, Fellow and Lecturer of the Gemmological Association. He is also the father of Annie, founder of Lurlina. Hence, the jewellery is of the highest quality and offers excellent pricing as there is no middleman.
These are solid, natural opals and will not be affected by water.
Moisturisers and body creams will not damage your opal jewellery, but a build-up of these products may reduce its shine.
Avoid abrasives or hard knocks as this could possibly damage your opal jewellery.
To clean, use a soft cloth or toothbrush with a mild detergent and warm water.
