This stone was cut in house by Ross Chapman, a master gemmologist and gem cutter with over 50 years of experience. The emerald cut suits the colour beautifully. Its long step facets keep the tone even and clear across the stone, with a brightness and polish that comes from cutting done properly rather than quickly. At 17x8mm, the proportions are elegant and versatile.
Clean to the eye throughout. Sky blue topaz is a lighter, airier blue than Swiss blue, with a softness that works effortlessly in both everyday and occasion pieces. A strong choice for a custom ring, pendant, or earring drop in silver or gold.
